Hi,again i need help…..i am pregnant and i don’t know which body lotion or moisturizer to use, to avoid having a strech marks and from itchiness… Anyway,is VASELINE LOTION SAFE FOR ME AND MY BABY???? Hope u can help me….thanks a lot!!!!

Anything with the word cream or butter would be a very moisturizing solution to put on your body, in comparison to a lotion which is watered down. I think pretty much anything would be safe while you are pregnant. >L
There is one normaly used for a cows udder, don’t laugh it works and is used alot it is called Bag Balm and it works great. Most pick it up from a farm supply dealer. A little country bunpkin for ya today
hey, theres a few…coacoa body butter, vaseline lotion, aloe vera cream stuff.trust me sometimes it will be annoying to put the cream on for 9 months but PLEASE do it because the results are beautiful!i am now 20 had a baby when i was 19 have no stretch marks and am now a professional hip-hop dancer!!! and show off my belly alot no one can tell i had a baby!glad to help
I would use Vaseline or Jergen’s or generic cocoa butter.
You need to realize that it’s a HUGE misconception that lotions can keep stretch marks from forming…basically what happens when your skin is stretched too fast is the bonds between your collagen fibers break completely, so the skin heals up and scars. That’s what makes the stretch marks. Moisturizing can’t hurt, though….use less expensive lotions. Don’t spend too much money hoping that it’ll keep stretch marks away. Some people are more prone to stretch marks than others.
