Skin Peeling- Lotions And Baby Oil Hurt! What Should I Do?

My shoulders have been peeling from a recent sunburn, and I was instructed to just keep pulling off the dead skin and applying lotion and baby oil.
The thing is, my shoulders sting REALLY BAD when I put the oil or lotion on! I even tried some burn gel and THAT burnt terribly too!
What else can I do?
You could try a couple of things. You could get Aloe Vera Gel or get an Aloe Vera plant and break off one of the leaves and apply it to your burn directly from the plant. Or you could use vitamin E oil and apply it. Vitamin E oil is great for healing scars or any skin problems really. I always take aspirin or Tylenol to bring my temperature down and the burn doesn’t hurt as bad. I’ve even taken a cool bath before and put baby oil in the bath water and when you get out of the tub or shower, pat yourself dry with the towel, don’t rub. Try all these things and see which one helps best for your body. Good luck, I know how painful burns can be.

aloe!!!
put some on and it will make it feel like 3824723 times better. and if you store it in the fridge then it cools the skin and makes it feel even better
Get aloe gelly and put it in the frigde to cool. THis will help moisturize and the coldness of it will take the bite away.
Banana Boat makes this spray aloe stuff and I use it after I go tanning. It keeps my skin from peeling because it has moisturizers in it
Get aloe.
Oh and i got this stuff that smelled like cucumber melon form like walgreens it worked really well too.
