So my wife is pregnant so she is all about getting pregnant products such as lotion. Now I know for Marketing purposes, using any of the words “pregnant, baby, pet, or wedding” on any product doubles the price. My wife just bought some lotion to prevent stretch marks and it was $18!!! I’m sure it works but is there other things out there that work and won’t break the bank? Any websites that would also go with other pregnant products as well?

Cocoa Butter, Just rub it on your stomach on a daily basis and It’ll help with the stretch marks. Also its not that expensive, you can get it at your local Walmart, Target, K-mart, you might even be able to get it at a grocery store. Will probably run you between $2-$6 wont be that bad just depends on where you go and the size of the bottle! Congrats on the lil one
Cocoa butter is used for both preventing stretch marks and treating them. If the weight gain is due to pregnancy, the cocoa butter should be rubbed daily on the affected area. Cocoa butter should be applied to the skin soon after a warm water bath, when the pores are open and the cocoa butter is easily absorbed. Shea butter may also be used instead of cocoa butter. You can find more cheap and natural remedies for stretch marks at the link below.
All I used during my pregnancy was cocoa butter and vitamine E. I have no stretch marks on my belly. I rubbed cocoa butter on my stomach twice daily, and at night before I went to bed I poked open a vitamine E caplet and rubbed the liquid from it on my belly.
Both are cheap (can be purchased at a dollar store) and worked fantastically for me. The maker’s of Palmer’s cocoa butter now have a stretch mark product that runs about 5$ a jar. You may want to try this as well.
A very good way to prevent stretch marks is cocoa butter. My brother used it when his girlfriend was going through her pregnancy and she did not get any stretch marks. Just make sure that you put it on every day because towards the way end she stopped using it then she got stretch marks.
Millions of women swear by cocoa butter. Palmer’s has a cocoa butter lotion that’s cheap and available in almost any store. I’ve been using St. Ives Collagen Elastin formula, and only last week noticed what I think might be a couple marks on my belly. And I’m due next week Saturday.
there is really no way to prevent them but there is a lotion called Palmers cocoa butter formula for stretch marks that may minimize their appearance, it is only like 5 or 6 dollars at Wal-mart
Unfortunately, you can’t prevent stretch marks. I used to put loads of Palmer’s cocoa butter on my belly, but I still got them. It all depends on the amount of weight she gains and her genetics.
I heard vitamin E helps to give the skin more elasticity so that it reduces the amount of strech marks you get and helps the tummy to go back with out as much sagging after birth.
I would be sure and talk to a pharmacist they wont charge you and they know alot. There is no 100% cure for stretch marks if she is destined to get them she will.
you really can’t prevent stretch marks, shes going to get them no matter what. you can make them less visible with lotion.
Belli from Peels works great
you really can’t prevent them no matter what you use
