its starting to get really cold where i live and my son’s cheeks are chapped. ive been putting baby lotion on them for the last couple days and it doesn’t seem to be helping. is there anything else that would help?
thanks!

Something like A&D or Vaseline.. anything with petroleum in it will do the trick. If you’re out and need to put something on try chapstick as a last resort.
my favorite product for that is by Johnsons, I think. It is in a pale mint green package, and I think it is called “soothing naturals”. They have a form of it that comes in a little stick ( it looks like a mini deodorant). One of the main ingredients is olive oil, so it smells yummy. I not only use this product on chapped faces, but on lips and even the dry skin on my toddler’s leg after a cast was removed!
I tried vaseline, but it made my son’s face so greasy and he ended up getting little pimples. I talked to a pharmacist and he suggested Eucerin calming cream. It worked for my son and we actually use that lotion for his whole body after bathtime.
A&D. baby lotion has alcohol, color and fragrance that would irritet chapped skin even more, Stick to a very THIN layer or A&D, Aquaphor. If it gets bad, I suggest you go tothe dr. and get a prescripion for a cortisne cream.
Good luck
You can put a light layer of vaseline, my son has a hat that covers his head, ears and cheeks and ties at the neck lol it so cute!
Vaseline or Aquaphor will work for sure! Put it on his face before you go outside.
Try baby oil instead of lotion
Try a thin layer of Vaseline.
