What’s Better To Kill Fleas On 1 Half Month Old Kittens?

I have 2, 1 & half month old kittens just infested with fleas everywhere, I just gave them a bath in Baby Shampoo 10 minutes ago and it did kill ALOT of the fleas but what to do about the eggs? they’re too young for that stuff you put on the back of their neck. Any ideas on how to kill the flea eggs? (pref best possible solution befor taking them to vet)
Your kittens are about 6 weeks old and as such you need to use caution,first you need to be prepared to treat your home as well as the kittens and only the female flea takes a blood meal which she needs to be able to lay her eggs.The black specks that you may be seeing are not eggs,they are flea stool or poop and when you wet it ,it will turn back into blood.
Now you can read the label on the Adams shampoo and see if it is ok for your age of kitten ,most will say 8wks and older but if it is ok then wet them down and first before you put the shampoo anywhere else put a ring around the neck as the fleas from the back of the body Will always run to the head to hide in the ears and nose area.Then shampoo all over and leave it on for at least 5 minutes to be effective make sure they are in a warm room. Be sure to put some ointment in each eye like a drop of mineral oil or a bland ointment you can find at the pet store.Wash out completely and make sure you dry them well.You will need to purchase something to treat your home and it should contain a growth regulator to keep the eggs from hatching .By the way flea eggs are so small that they look like salt and are about that same color.
It may take a while but if you keep at it you will get them under control.Please make your kittens house cats or they will keep bringing fleas into the house.Hope this helps.
