Target allways seems to have their version of j&j baby soap and shampoo on sale and they are so much cheaper. I’m mostly interested in the bedtime scents, but they are sealed so I haven’t been able to smell them. Is the quality and fragrance the same?

I don’t know about Wal-Mart brands, but I loved Targets bedtime bath, it smelled exactly the same as J&J. I still use it and my son is 18 months!
Most are made at the same company as the name brands. Unfortunately all these products contain phthalates and parabens which can cause cancer. Use brands that say phthalate free like Avalon organics or California Baby. it’s worth the extra dollar or two to protect your child.
Yes they do work the same, although some babies may be allergic to the “cheaper” versions. My son is allergic to most “cheap” products.
My hubby used to work for a pharmacuetical company that made these lotions and things, and here’s the news, THEY WERE EXACTLY THE SAME PRODUCT. Ninety percent of the time the only thing that was different was the label, sometimes even the bottle was the same!
Better sometimes, Johnson and Johnson is selling a name, same with Harley Davidson, John Deere, ETC
yes they are the same, and so are all the ingredients….
go for the cheap stuff….
Im sure the quality is the same. the fragrence of johnsons and johnsons is a very distict baby smell that is hard to match. i always buy johnsons and johnsons.
also, paul mitchell has a good baby shampoo at target (in the adult shampoo aisle) its called “baby dont cry” and its 11.99 for a HUGE bottle, smells great and lasts a long time. I have 2 kids (11m and 3y) and it has lasted since january so far.
