Ok, so dad has eczema that runs in his family. My son who is now 7 1/2 months old has spots all over his body. At first it started off just on his tummy and upper thighs, now it has spread all over his body. Some places are just patches of dry skin, others are red and kinda bumpy. Is this a rash or eczema? The doctor said he had eczema and to use Eucerin lotion on him. We tried that and it wasn’t working, it was greasy, and since we started using it is when all of this had spread. We quit using it and now I use a sensitve skin baby lotion for the dry skin but the redness and bumps are still there. Anyone else experience this, and what did you do? He is teething and it’s still cold outside so I don’t think it’s a heat rash, especially since he’s had this since he was born (just not so bad). I haven’t feed him anything different so it’s not a food allergy either. I figured I would ask the mom’s here before I make a Dr appointment.

he only has symptoms of irritation so far.should i put calamine lotion on it?i just got over with the chicken pox and i’m also worried that my 2 1/2 yr old daughter gets it too.do i have to go to the doctor?my kids did not get their vaccination to prevent chicken pox.

i am 6 1/2 months pregnant with my first child and i am staying at a shelter and the staff asked all of the residents to wirte a list of things they would like to have for christmas. so far this is what i have..: onezies, beanies, socks, a sweater, pants, mittens, shoes, a baby moniter, blakets, bottles, burp towels, binkeys, pampers, stroller, diaper bag, baby lotion, baby shampoo, baby wipes, que tips, diaper rash cream, baby tylenol and thats all i have so far. is there anything els i should ask for that the baby needs? please give me some tips and advice on how this list looks so far. i have to turn the list in within 3 days so please help me out.

My 1 year old has such bad eczema on her legs. Her pedi is not helpful and justsays to keep moisturizing her legs w/ Baby lotion. I do, but, she scratches SO much thatshe has scratches/scabs all over her legs. I keep her in pants and ssocks at all times to cover so she doesnt scratch,but,as soon as I take them off (even for few seconds for diaper change) she starts scratching her legs SO vigorously. I dont know what to do, any help would be appreciated, Anything oTC that worked for you?please help

My resale store will not only se gently used toys and clothes but I want to sell new items such as sippy cups, bottles, pacifiers, maternity belts, baby lotion & soaps,teething supplies, baby laundry detergent, pregnancy cocoa butters, diapers, wipes and so forth.
I am presently writing out my business plan and applying for my licenses to open the store but I have been search all day and night for vendors and wholesale suppliers for products like Nuby, Gerber, Palmer’s, Dreft, Johnson & Johnson, Pampers and others like those.
Does anyone know of a website or any contact info where I can set up a wholesale order for my store? Please help!
Also, Does anyone have any name Ideas for my Store? It’s a resale store that sells newborn – 5T clothing (Gently used) also gently used baby items such as swings bouncers and high chairs, etc… It also will be selling those brand new items that i mentioned earlier. That’s for all your help….

I’ve been using Aveeno Baby lotion on my 2 month old son and he got rash on his belly and legs from it. I thought it was from something else and i wasnt using anything on him for a week and rash almost went away. Last night i thought his skin was a bit dry and rash went away i should moisturize him and now while changing him, noticed rash on belly. Anyone else had this issue?? I guess i should just not use Johnson and Johnson at all…

What should i do about it? i put baby lotion on her every time bathe her ? Is this just cause she is a new born? or does she just have really dry skin?

We’re living in vegas dry…I’m using dr.bronner’s castille soap which only consist of oils so its very gentle to skin. avalon a&d baby lotion, looks like aquaphor but without mineral oil. I even use calamine to stop the itch, avenoo 1% hydrocortisone. I have tried lots of products in the market I mean most of the ingredients are pretty similar. Is there anyone who has a kid that has severe rash or dry skin? what can I use? Thanks. Poor girl wake up everynight scratching her face. I even use a humidifier nothing works…

i’ve got the furniture stuff covered. i have a full supply of cloth diaper supplies, and i plan to breastfeed.
in clothing i have
0-3 months
15 onesies (some long sleeve some short, i planned on putting the long sleeve under the short sleeve because it is winter and all)
15 long sleeve one piece footy outfits (covers from shoulder to feet i don’t know what they are called)
A pram, i just figured out what this thing is and how to use it. its basically a thick warm pouch to put your baby in right?
lots of socks/gloves/hats
only about half a dozen receiving blankets and five good warm blankets too
4 infant towels (these seem like they’d make better wash cloths, seriously)
6 pairs of pants (i feel i need more…???)
3 jackets that came with outfits
i haven’t bought 3-6 month clothing yet
i have baby lotion, shampoo, nose sucker, thermometer, infant Vick’s, tylenol and achohol pads (for the umbilical cord ??) a baby bather to put in the tub, soft bristle brush.
i am sure there are things i have forgotten. i am 35 weeks pregnant. should i pack my bag or wait until i am a couple days from my due date? i am not sure, i would pack now but i think i will just unpack because i don’t have alot of stuff of my own and i will want to use what i pack.. but i also don’t want to be in labor packing a bag! advice??
