I am using Banana Boat Baby Magic Sunblock SPF 50. It is a brand new bottle and for the most part I really like. However, I find it a bit dense/thick and hard to rub in (it seems to take forever).
I want to use this on my face too and was wondering if I diluted it with some water or just regular face/body lotion (like a Dove face lotion or Vaseline body lotion), will it alter the effectiveness of the sunblock?
My skin concerns are not burning/damaging my skin and anti-aging. My face lotions and foundations and face powders all have SPF. I don’t want to break out using the Baby Magic sunblock on my face because it is so heavy. I have combination skin, so I still break out but have dry patches too.
Also, what is the typical shelf life of sunblock? This bottle doesn’t have an expiration date.
Thanks for your help!

I mean, the rest of my body doesn’t have pimples or blemishes. It’s baby-smooth and supple. And I only use normal antibacterial soap like Safeguard. I seldom put lotion. But with my face, I’ve never used soap, always these so-called mild cleansers. I tone, I moisturize, I seldom get out in the sun, but my face has all these dark spots, reddish spots, a couple of pimples, pimple scars, whiteheads, blackheads (in pictures you can’t see them but if you look at my skin really closely, ugh!) Now I’m tempted to use the same products and maintenance techniques (which is practically low-maintenance) that I do on my body, to my face. What’s the diff between body and face skin anyway?

Lotion:
I wouldn’t say my skins DRY or the SOFTEST but,
I want my skin to be really soft, like baby soft.
My friend said that Johnsons Baby Lotion is really good
she said that in days or weeks after using it, her skin was so soft.
So which kind should I get?
Do tanning lotions work, and if so how long does it take for it to be effective?
Also, should I put the lotion on RIGHT AFTER
I come out the shower completly wet?
Or should I dry myself alittle, and put it on while I’m moist?
I herd that lasts longer.
Blackheads / Acne:
I used to have very bad blackheads until I started using
Biore PORE PERFECT ULTRA deep cleansing porse strips.
In just 1 day of use, I could literally feel it and see it working.
I have bad acne under my chin. Not THAT bad but that seems
where most of my acne occurs. What should I get?
Clean & Clear isn’t working for me.

My doc thinks that I use detergent for my bra that is causing my breasts/nipples to be irritated or the soap I use is causing it. I have switched to baby detergent and also chose a gentle liquid body wash. Any suggestions on gentle body wash thats safe to use would be great.

I bought this soap on a trip to India. One of its ingredients is “turmeric extract”. I know that turmeric gets rid of body hair, so will this soap also get rid of body hair?
I also bought baby oil with turmeric oil in it. Will this get rid of body hair?
Thank you
.

I use the johnson and johnson lavender bath and lotion on my 10 month old and there is nothing wrong with him. I believe there would be some kind of warning on the label if this was bad. I also don’t believe the product would be on the market if this was the case.
