i’ve heard that you can add essential oils to the baby mild dr. bronner’s to create your own scents. (i mostly use for laundry not as a body soap). they have patchouli lotions but not soap which makes me sad. so i was wondering if i have a 32 ounce bottle (liquid obviously) of doc bronner’s, how much essential oil should i add? also, would it affect the soap itself in any way?

My little boy was taking a bath about 4 hours ago and got a little bit of soap in his eye…I didn’t see any soap, but he was crying and squinting his eyes. I rinsed his eye a little bit….but, you know how that goes with a baby…he didn’t willingly hold his eye open for me or anything, so I splashed water on it basically…anyways, it’s still red and irratated. Has this happened to any of you? On the bottle it said to rinse well with water for 15 minutes and if irratation persists to call the Dr.Does 4 – 5 hours count as persists? Or should I wait until the morning? Thanks ladies!!! Also, his eye has a little glaze look to them….is that normal? Or is it due to the soap getting in them?
