i never have…..i rinse them with hot water and then put them into a microwave sanitizer. i mean breastfeeding you aren’t supposed to use soap on your nipples…….my MIL used soap on the nipples and i can still smell it on them. the material they are made out of is very pourous. i was just always told to not use soap.

I can’t afford to toss them all (which was my first thought!). We have been invaded by these nasty critters this year (first time ever!) …so i am at a loss as to how to get them clean enough to use again. I will NOT put them in my kitchen sink til they’re clean! What do i do??? It’s mouse urine, too.
I’m killing them as fast as i can & they keep making more babies!

My cat has fleas..poor baby, first time ever and I tried the dish soap trick, it wasn’t dawn but I heard that any soap works. It did work, somewhat..some of the fleas died and rinsed off and some are still alive, not sure how many..some also were not moving after, but are still attatched to his fur..are they dead? I left the soap on for about 5 minutes..should I leave it on longer? I am going to do it again in like a week or so, does Dawn really work best? Should I buy a flea comb to use after the next time? I feel really bad that it didn’t kill them all…especially since it’s his birthday (he’s 4) and he hates baths…..I know I am a dork! lol! After his fur dries and he stops licking I am going to use a Flea Halt brand wipe to kill more of them…. I am sad…
I can’t help but feel like I did it wrong or something!

My brother and his wife just had a baby and I was going to wash his bottle with dish soap and they almost shot me for it. I have never heard of this. Is this something new they found out about?

I know certain cleaners are bad for little lungs bcause of the chemicals. So what exact chemicals are they that are bad. I have been using palmolive antibacterial dish washing soap ever since i gave birth to my baby. Is that o.k.? I use it on everything… toys, windows, counter tops, bathroom fixtures, eating surfaces…
