My daughter who is a little over three months still likes to be swaddled at night and will not sleep if she is not…
She is such a good baby…she doesnt need me to rock her or soothe her to sleep…we have a bath, i give her a massage with with baby lotion, get dressed, read a story, have a milk and then wrap her up and put her down…she falls alseep all by herself…
The last two nights I tried to do this same routine minus the swaddling but she wouldnt go do…she cried and cried (totally unlike her)…
Any suggestions on how I break this habit or if I even need to? I read somewhere that swaddling after three months can cause delays – though Im not overly worried as she can already roll from her tummy to her back and has rolled from her back to her tummy twice so far…
Yes, Im going to call my pediatrician but any suggestions from other mums is always helpful….

My baby is 5 months old his had eczema on his face for a couple of months now, side of his face was infected, its gotten better with the help of an antibiotic cream and sigmacort cream which is a hydrocortisone cream, however he is always still itchy , after moisturising with Dermeveen lotion its like it flared up more can this be the case. His breastfed, can it be my diet?What can i do that will stop his itchness?

WHAT CAN MY SISTER DO OR USE TO REDUCE THE ECZEMA FROM MY BABY NEICE? SHE HAS TRIED EVERYTHING FROM SOY INFANT BABY FORMULA TO CETAPHIL SOAP.. HER DOCTOR PERSCRIBED A LOTION, AND SHE IS CURRENTLY TAKING BENADRYL (FOR INFANTS) BUT IT DOESNT SEEM TO BE DOING ANYTHING. SHE EVEN WENT TO A DERMOTOLOIST, BUT NOTHING WORKS.
MY BABY NEICE GETS KIND OF LIKE RASHES ON HER CHEECKS AND LEGS AND RECENTLY MY SISTER TOLD ME SHE’S GETTING IT ON HER BACK AND CHEST.. THEY ARE RED AND PUSS COMES OUT(SOME TIMES). IF THE BABY SCRATCHES IT SHE BLEEDS. WE ARE VERY WORRIED AND DO NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO ANYMORE??

Some people say use baby lotion others say use vaseline. I want to know which is best if any? Is there anything else out there that you suggest I use?

My husband and I will be traveling with our 3 month old baby to visit my parents in Minnesota. We are not sure of how the whole process of airport security is when it comes to baby wipes, formula, water for formula, diaper cream, baby lotion, etc. How much can you carry on? Can anyone give us their experience traveling with an infant from checking in at the airport and boarding the plane. Thanks.

i don’t see why not. i do that to my son after his bath all the time. just make sure that its made for babies and its really mild that way its not harsh on her face. you can also apply Lanolin, its kind of like vasaline but it’s ok for a baby in case it gets on her hands and then puts her hands in her mouth. The lanolin will lock in the moisture.

His skin easy to get rash and rough.
