Ok I was once told at work by many co-workers that I smelled bad. Some made it obvious by using gestures, you know pinching their noses behind my back etc. But one of my co-workers actually said something really nasty to my face. Her exact words were, “Well at least I don’t smell like butt!!” And then she started laughing and actually just about everyone in the restaurant (where I worked at the time) did too, including my manager.
Well needless to say I was really embarassed and I wished the ground would have just opened up and swallowed me right then and there. I just looked down and kept doing my job. As soon as I got off work I went home took a shower and cried and then I went straight to the store and bought all sorts of soaps, deodorants and body powders. I was already a very hygenic person tho before I got these rude comments and gestures so I couldn’t understand it. After this incident tho I started taking several showers a day and applying extra deodorant etc but..

I take showers at night because my hair tends to dry very very slowly and blow dryers just make it explode. So i shower at night because i don’t have the time in the morning to wait 2-3 hours for my hair to dry, and so by the time i wake up my hair is quite a bit oily around my bangs (i’ve started pinning them up for the nite but that just ends up with waves in my bangs when i put them back down, but its better than the alternative.). anyways so i sometimes still have to put a little bit of baby powder in my hair to soak up the oil, but this usually leaves a blotch of white.
so i heard about this miracle of DRYY SHAMPOO. and i thought wow, this seems like exactly what i need, all you do is spray it and its the same result but without the white! after researching a bit and reading reviews on different brands of dry shampoo (bumble and bumble, klorane, oscar blandi, etc) honestly to me it sounds like its the same thing as baby powder.
just in a spray form. it still leaves the white spots and apparently the colored ones aren’t that great either unless they happen to perfectly match you, which is unlikely especially for a person of my luck.
so whats the point of spending so much money on dry shampoo?
is there a REAL solution to problems like mine? i thoguht dry shampoo was the answer. but it seems like there may not be one.

Corn oil comes from corn. Soybean oil comes from soybeans. Peanut oil comes from peanuts. So where do you think baby oil comes from?
I found this article for you. The fragrances in baby oil and other baby products are synthetic, so this applies.http://www.checnet.org/healthehouse/educ…
If you would like to read more about this sort of thing, Seventh Generation publishes a book called Naturally Clean.
Here’s the site I was really looking for:http://www.cosmeticsdatabase.com/product…

I bought this Johnson’s bath time kit and it comes with the baby lotion, baby oil, baby powder, and some other things. What I want to know is after I bathe her, what do I do? Do I use the powder or the lotion or the oil or what? I’ve always seen on tv them using the powder after changing the babies diaper, but I just don’t know, I’m so lost!
