My daughter is almost 5 months old and drools constantly. Her chin and cheeks have become very chapped and red and dry. I bought some baby vasoline and put it on her cheeks quite a bit but it seems like it just protects her from being wet all the time and doesnt really moisturize her skin.
My questions are: will regular baby lotion cause her face to break out since its fragranced?
I use some dove moisturizer for sensitive skin for myself, could I use that on her?? it is very gentle and unfragranced but moisturizes really good.
Or do you think I should just continue using the vasoline?? her poor cheeks are getting scaly

My son has the most sensitive skin you can imagine! We already use fragrance free/sensitive laundry detergent for all his clothes. We also use fragrance free body wash/shampoo for sensitive skin. I use the aveeno baby lotion for sensitive skin daily but…..not matter what I use my son gets a red ring around his neck. It’s under his chin and around his neck and it looks painful. He does not seem to be bothered by it but I can’t figure out how to fix it. Anyone had this problem with their children or have any suggestions? My son is 5 1/2 months! Thanks!

my face,im not able to use soap,i just clean it with cotton and water.and my whole body easily gets allergy on lotions or soap.even on jonhsons baby bath,baby oil,im having rushes.what im gonna do?

i have tried everything ivory, dove and organic soap nothing helps someone suggested baby wash im not sure if it is for adult skin or if it will clean i don’t know any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

I’m allergic to almost every plant you can think of that they use in most shampoo’s. so i can’t use Garnier Fructise, Herbal Essences, and definately not Aveda. Any suggestions of good quality shampoo that i can use?
(I’ve just started having reactions in the past month & 1/2. so i’m stuck with Baby Shampoo. BLECH!)

I know they have a body lotion for sensitive skin in their Baby Bee line, but is there a product especially made for dry, sensitive facial skin?

I need recommendations. And I’ve tried alot so not just anything will do. I have already tried T gel, Head and Shoulders, baby shampoo, redken, suave, pantene, tresemme, and some natural shampoos like Jason and Aubrey Organics. Nothing helps. I come out of the shower and there are red splotches all over me and I itch all day on my scalp and back. Please.. what can I use that doesn’t do this.

My daughter is 10 weeks and is allergic to johnson and johnsons baby soap. She’s been having a rash, I finally figured it out when her rash had gone away and the next day I went to give her a bath and as soon as I started to wash her with the washrag she completely broke out. What else is there that I can use? I haven’t looked and I am sure there are products other then jonhson and johnson, I am just curious as to what you guys use. She is also allergic to the bubbles bath by the same brand. Thanks for your comments in advance!

His skin easy to get rash and rough.

Also try Mustela its an all natural none soap. My kids had and have very sensitive skin and it worked great.We found it while visiting my wifes father several years ago in Toronto. It’s a French product.
