My daughter who is a little over three months still likes to be swaddled at night and will not sleep if she is not…
She is such a good baby…she doesnt need me to rock her or soothe her to sleep…we have a bath, i give her a massage with with baby lotion, get dressed, read a story, have a milk and then wrap her up and put her down…she falls alseep all by herself…
The last two nights I tried to do this same routine minus the swaddling but she wouldnt go do…she cried and cried (totally unlike her)…
Any suggestions on how I break this habit or if I even need to? I read somewhere that swaddling after three months can cause delays – though Im not overly worried as she can already roll from her tummy to her back and has rolled from her back to her tummy twice so far…
Yes, Im going to call my pediatrician but any suggestions from other mums is always helpful….
Thanks very much…

My bff had a beautiful baby boy this weekend, and her baby shower is scheduled for next Sunday. They literally have NOTHING as they did not want to buy a bunch of stuff and then have a shower. They had no idea on sex of baby so they bought a few “generic” outfits..(lol, which totally dont fit as baby was only 6.12)
I am doing her up a big laundry basket filled with all sorts of little things but I dont know what else to add….I NEED SOME HELP PLEASE!!!
What were some of the little things that you needed with a newborn? I so far have the following, but what else can I add?
~ Travel Bath/Change Pad
~ Hand Sanatizer (she is a serious germa-phob…
~ Baby Lotion
~ Bottle Drying Rack (she is BF but will be pumping as well later)
~ Medicine Soother
~ Gripe Water
~ Baby Tylenol
~ A couple “preemie/1 month” outfits
~ Ice cube tray for freezing breastmilk
~ Face cloths
I will also be putting in some mommy stuff…any sug for that as well?
T/Y for the answers!!!

My baby got cradle cap at one month of age. I got rid of it, and now every week I take preventative measures against it (rubbing in baby oil, then combing it through before shampooing it). She’s 10 months old now. How long should I keep doing this?

Try cat shampoo and make sure that your cat does not eat garlic because garlic is not good for cats.

My daughter is 14 moths old. She still has these little red bumps all over her face. She has them in her ears above her eyebrows, just scattered all over. We use Ivory soap and Vasoline on her face. any suggestions would be appreciated??

iv been using my abbys shampoo and my hair has never felt better! it leaves my hair super soft like no other shampoo iv tried. so i was wondering is it bad to use since i do dye my hair once in a while and i do straighten it most of the weekends. i mean does baby shampoo have any benefits if i use it other then leaving my hair super soft?
how long have you been using it for and do you switch between baby shampoo and another one.

I still get spanked over my dad’s the knee. I also get my mouth washed out with soap. Is this normal? I think I am too old for baby punishments. Am I?
