about three weeks ago i ran out of baby shampoo and until i got more, i used regular shampoo (it was only two days that i used the regular shampoo), and even though i bought baby shampoo, my son still screams his head off when i go to wash his hair. he’s almost three, and it’s actually gotten worse, now he actually fights me when i mention that i have to give him a bath. he used to love baths and now he points to the door when i put him in for me to leave. then a couple minutes later when i come in to check on him, he get’s so mad because he knows that i have to wash his hair, but if i’m not in the bathroom, he knows he’s safe for a little while.
everytime i wash his hair he screams his head off, and fights me to no end, what should i do? it’s been three weeks and it hasn’t worn off yet. please help!!

My 5 year old son has taken to throwing ghastly fits over EVERYTHING in the last few weeks. When you give him food he doesnt like, he says he has a tummy ache and then melts in to hysterics. If one of his brothers even looks at him sideways he’s bawling. Right now he is screaming and kicking the floor because his ” face hurts” ( we have been to the doctor 4 times because of this complaint and nothing is wrong) And yesterday he had an explosion at the Y after swimming lessons because I forgot our shampoo and the soap there smelled funny. He laid in the shower screaming and kicking until my husband had to come in and pick him up.( I was getting the baby dressed) I’m losing my mind and I dont know how to cope with this.

I have terribly itchy scalp, some shampoos make it sore, some make it flaky.
I have tried so many different things
Coal tar shampoo
Tgel
Antidandruff ie head and shoulders
baby shampoo
most commonly available anti itch shampoos
shampoo for psoriasis
etc
The only thing that works at the moment is a shampoo called Klorane with peony, it seems to work intermittently but my hair is pretty dull.
My scalp is healthy at the moment but I really need to condition my hair it is so dry with the sun and chlorine after my holiday but ALL conditioners so far have left me with scales on my head that flake and become very sore, or an itchy rash develops.

I’m 16 and I have really dry flaky skin on some areas of my body. I use baby lotion everyday but it doesn’t seem to make it any better. I’ve been trying to drink more water as well, like 3 glasses a day. Is there anything else i can do to make it better or will it eventually get better as i get older?

Often I have these small white bumps under the top I’ve my eye lids. They can be irritating if they rub against the cornea and give the feeling that something is in the eye.
I have seen a doc- and was told to use warm compresses and to clean my eye lashes with baby shampoo. Doing all this may help a little bit but the bumps keep coming back. What can I do? Go back to the eye-doc?

Just curious? My son is 13 months old and we’re still going through all his baby washes that we got as gifts. Is there a time when I should stop using them? Or does it really matter at all?

I presume it’s the beginnings of cradle cap, but for now, as it’s on his face, how can I reduce the unsightliness? Tips based on personal experience would be greatly appreciated!
He also has spots on his cheeks and chin, but the paediatrician said soap should clear it up. Any tips on that would help too!
